MIGB Families:

On the heels of a successful Mercer Island Girls Basketball season – which included 3 out of 4 select teams qualifying for the state tournament, some of the highest participation numbers we’ve seen at both the youth and high school levels, including a full complement of competitive MIHS teams with a C-Team, JV and Varsity squad – the MIGB board is making preparations for an even bigger better season in 2022-23!

In order to achieve our goals and set the bar even higher, we need your help! We have a number of volunteer opportunities across all of the areas we cover, including (but not limited to) our select program, game day operations, fundraising, marketing, and more.

We are in search of parent volunteers who want to contribute to MIGB and continue to build our program. There is no minimum or limit in terms of how much you can offer – whether it’s one hour a month, or more – if you are ready to help, we want to talk with you!

Additionally, we are in the process of restructuring our board, and determining where there may be a need for additional board members. Board membership requires a higher level of commitment than volunteering, and may or may not be something you’re interested in.
