The Islanders competed in the Desert Holiday Classic in Palm Springs over Christmas break. The team went 3-1 at the event and finished in 3rd place, with captains Lauren and Caitlin Monahan each making the All-Tournament team. Lauren Monahan also won the girls division 3-point contest beating out 9 other participants.
